Forged fittings are joined by threading or socket welding and are typically used on smaller-bore, high-pressure lines at 3000# and 6000# classes. Butt weld fittings are welded end to end, producing a smooth continuous bore with no restriction, and are preferred for larger-bore process piping where flow efficiency and full-strength joints matter.
Our pipe fittings are available in stainless steel grades 304, 304L, 316 and 316L, and carbon steel grades including A105N and SS400. Grade 316L offers greater corrosion resistance for marine, chemical and offshore service, while carbon steel suits general-purpose applications where corrosion exposure is lower.
Forged fittings comply with ASTM A182, butt weld fittings with ASTM and ASME A403, ANSI B16.9 and MSS SP-43, and pipes and tubes with ASTM and ASME A312. Flanges are supplied to ANSI, JIS and DIN standards. Stainless steel sheets meet A240, SA240, A480 and SA480.
