Flanges for Sale in Malaysia: Types We Supply
Slip-On Flanges
A slip-on flange slides over the outside of the pipe and is fillet welded on both sides. It is easy to align and install, and is commonly used on lower-pressure lines and general service piping.
Blind Flanges
A blind flange is a solid plate with no bore. It is bolted to close off the end of a pipe, valve or vessel opening, and allows the line to be extended or opened for inspection later.
Threaded Flanges
A threaded flange has an internal thread that screws onto a threaded pipe, so no welding is needed. It is useful where welding is impractical or unsafe, typically on smaller-bore, lower-pressure lines.

Flange Standards: ANSI, JIS and DIN
ANSI
ANSI / ASME flanges are rated by pressure class and are widely used in oil and gas and process plants.
JIS
JIS flanges follow Japanese Industrial Standards and are common on Japanese-built equipment and in marine work.
DIN
DIN flanges follow German standards with PN pressure ratings and appear on European equipment. Always match the standard of the mating flange so that bolt holes, dimensions and facings line up.
